THE HOBO NICKELS
Hailed by Swallow Hill Music as "One of the most fun new Americana groups in Colorado", The Hobo Nickels have been charming Denver audiences since 2007 with their grab bag of original, upbeat, Americana tunes and a foot-stompin', barn-burnin' stage show. Blending accordion, banjo uke, kazoo, guitar, fluke and upright bass, The Hobo Nickels quilt an eclectic patchwork of good time music sure to bring a smile to show goers young and old.
TWO THIN DIMES OLD-TIME STRINGBAND
Two Thin Dimes Old-Time Stringband play an American folk style of music called old-time, which developed mainly from older English, Scottish, Irish and African folk traditions. This is typically fiddle-driven dance music, but also includes ballads, songs and other folk musical styles. Carrie Jackson (banjo, guitar) and Chad Yost (fiddle, mandolin, guitar) are joined by Swallow Hill instructor Chris McGarry (guitar, uke).
